WHAT MAKES Ballston CrossFit DIFFERENT?

Since opening in February 2012, we have helped thousands of people get fit in the popular Ballston neighborhood of Arlington. Over the years, we are proud to have received 9 awards for our excellence in coaching. We are conveniently located 4 blocks from the Ballston metro station on the Orange Line. The Ballston CrossFit (BCF) team has always had a passion for sports, health and fitness. Our gym and workout programs are completely designed around driving results for our members. CrossFit coaches lead members through a fun and challenging 1 hour long workout of the day (WOD), coaching athletes on technique and encouraging you to work hard. We provide the best in fitness training, coaching and programming for all fitness levels (our workouts are scalable so everyone can be challenged and get fit). Our program efficiently combines the most effective methods of weight training, gymnastics, kettlebells, dumbbells and high intensity cardio. At BCF you will be challenged and motivated every day with constantly varied high intensity functional workouts, resulting in a greatly enhanced level of fitness.

To us, fitness is a state of mind, a way of living. It shows up in the way you talk, walk, sleep, eat, work, play, dress and relax. It is the physical embodiment of the character traits of honor, courage, confidence, discipline, integrity, responsibility, dedication, and joy. It is also instrumental in reducing the immediate and cumulative effects of stress and anxiety. We have found that the more fit a person is, the more he/she is physically able to do the things that bring joy and fun to life – everything from feeling strong, confident and energetic through your normal work day, to running around with your friends or kids, being physically active and playing sports, and traveling to remote corners of the earth. Being physically fit is inspiring, feels good, enriches your life, and adds both years to your life, and life to your years. People that are fit seem to have a clearer, more optimistic view of life. For us, the bottom line is this: Fitness allows you to live your best, and BCF will help you achieve your highest levels of fitness.

Ballston CrossFit strives to provide a community that is healthy, strong and vital, where participants have the courage to live outside the “normal” belief that health, fitness and vitality must decline with age. We strive to motivate our members to high levels of fitness in a fun and encouraging environment.
