As a kid, I grew up playing all the backyard sports and after trying many sports, I found that I excelled at golf. Even though it wasn’t very physical, the mental aspect of the sport had lasting effects on my brain. As a freshman in college I found health/fitness and my brain became obsessed with seeing what my body was physically capable of.
August 15, 2017 – My thoughts on fitness took a DRASTIC turn. I remember taking my first class, thinking I was in shape, and ended up rolling on the ground gasping for air while everyone was just walking around putting away their equipment. It was at that moment I knew I had to do what these people were doing. The mindset behind performance had begun so I observed, learned, and practiced as much as I could to “catch up” to my peers.
July 2019 – I left my full time job to pursue my passion in CrossFit and haven’t looked back since. The CrossFit community has brought me hundreds of memories, friendships, and opportunities that help me live a fulfilled and meaningful life. I’m more than happy to give back to the community and extremely thankful for the opportunity to do what I love for a living!”
Culture and community building are huge aspects of my life. I can’t wait to see how that will play out at BCF!
I hold the following certifications:
- CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, CF-L1
- CrossFit Aerobic Capacity
