5 Year Member Spotlight

How many days a week do you workout (and typically what time slot)?
 4 days a week – 6:30PM.

– What is your favorite thing about BCF?
BCF friendship machine! Over the last five years I’ve made so many friends who I look forward to working out with and seeing almost every day. So much has changed in the last five years but coming to BCF has remained a constant source of community and motivation for me.

 – What is your favorite movement/workout? Least favorite?
Favorite movement – Squat snatch
Least Favorite – Turkish get up

– What accomplishment are you most proud of (inside or outside the box)?
Before finding CrossFit I exclusively ran and found my strength declining as I ran further distances. I’m proud that BCF taught me not to be afraid to lift heavy and helped me find both physical and mental strength through their programming and community.
 
– What is one goal you would like to accomplish in the next year?
Next year I am having a baby! Very excited to get back in the gym after baby and rebuild my strength and fitness.

– What advice can you provide to people new to the box?
Don’t compare yourself to other members, everyone was new once. Enjoy your short lived time as a newbie and say hello to everyone! I love meeting new members,  hearing why they joined BCF, and watching them grow and progress. Your journey inspires me … keep going!
