Sunday, December 8, 2019, 8:00 AM: 10th Annual Homeless Hope Winter Event
Come join Homeless Hope as we organize our 2019 Winter Clothing Drive for the homeless! This will be our 10th year operating as a non-profit organization proudly serving the homeless since 2009, and we hope you will consider partnering with us by volunteering your time or by making a financial contribution.
When: Sunday, December 8th starting at 8am
Where: Ballston CrossFit, 1110 N. Glebe Rd. Arlington VA 22205 (you can park in the garage under the gym and we can validate for $2 parking)
Why: Show God’s love by providing warm clothes and food for homeless men and women (and sometimes children) on the streets of DC.
Areas of Need:
-collect warm clothes from your closet or from friends and drop them off at Ballston CrossFit between Dec 1-8.
– package up the supplies we purchased (8am-10am)- distribute the items on the streets in DC (10am-noon)

Our hope and prayer is to live out Matthew 25:34-40 on December 8th as Homeless Hope will be meeting at Ballston Crossfit Gym to help collect and organize over 100 coats, hats, gloves, and toiletry kits for the homeless.
SCHEDULE & DETAILS

8:00 am: Breakfast & Networking (There is $2 validated parking under the gym. Bring your parking ticket in to get validated).
8:15 am: Set up stations and start unpacking. Pack toiletries and organize clothing donations.
8:45 am: Group picture & quick message before we pack cars and drive down to DC.
9:15 am(ish): Meet at Franklin Park to pass out donations and spend time with the homeless (Address: 1332 I St NW, Washington, DC 20005). We will set up tables on 13th street side.
11:00 am: Volunteer lunch at Corner Bakery. 2111 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201
