Biography
Coaching since February 2024
With Ballston CrossFit since 2020
My childhood was filled with activities, sports teams, and pretty much anything that involved movement of any kind. I played softball and soccer until high school and then transitioned to lacrosse until college.
My parents started doing CrossFit in 2013 and I remember being very curious about the sport. In high school, my teammates and I would do CrossFit style classes to train for the season. When I left for college, I primarily went to the university gym but every time I came home to visit I was sure to stop in at my parents gym.
It wasn’t until the spring of 2019 when I graduated from VT that I decided I was going to commit to a regular CrossFit routine.
I moved to Ballston in 2020 and immediately searched for CrossFit gyms near me. As fate would have it, I had moved into a townhouse not even a block from BCF.
Here we are 5 years later and I’ve made some of my greatest friends and developed a love for weightlifting, gymnastics, and everything CrossFit has to offer.
I loved it so much I decided I wanted to pursue coaching and in the spring of 2024 I began a 7 month internship process and took the Level 1 CrossFit certificate course.
I can’t wait to continue developing my CrossFit skills both as a coach and as an athlete! I love the community BCF has created and I am so honored to be a member of such an incredible team of talented coaches.
I hold the following qualifications:
- CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, CF-L1
