With 8 USAW Certified Olympic Weightlifting coaches on staff, Ballston CrossFit provides a comprehensive approach to the sport of Olympic Weightlifting. The B&R Barbell Club is offered daily (our sister box CFR7) to focus on  improving the Olympic lifts of our athletes (whether you are looking to compete on the platform or a beginner looking to improve your oly lifts).

Both the snatch and the clean and jerk bring speed, strength, power, coordination, fleB&R (large)xibility and balance to your overall training while increasing explosive strength and explosive output. These lifts are an integral part of developing as an athlete, and the B&R Barbell Club is a great avenue to Travis #1improve these very technical movements.

Athletes will learn the movements in detail, incorporate drills for each lift, and analyze their technique using video analysis (Coaches Eye) to help get a good sense of what’s going right, what’s going wrong and how your mechanics can be improved to maximize the loads lifted. Sessions will include a warm-up, mobility work, strength work and sometimes end with a brief conditioning session.
